ARMO M4A1 (76 mm Late)

This kit from ARMO fills another huge gap in 1/72nd scale modeling.

One of the biggest problems with Esci’s M4A1 is that the turret supplied with the kit...well, it just ain’t right.

The turret that Esci should have supplied is the T-23 turret. Most large hatch M4A1’s were built with the 76 mm turret that this great ARMO kit represents. The turret that Esci did supply was the earlier, low bustle 75 mm turret. This kit corrects that mistake.

The kit consists of a solid cast resin T-23 turret, a turned aluminum barrel, a cast resin muzzle brake and a photo etched fret. My only complaint against this otherwise excellent conversion kit is that the turret IS solid. I would much rather have been able to have the hatches open.

Overall this is and excellent kit and I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to correct their old Esci or new Italeri M4A1’s.
