Mr Modellbau M4A2 Intermediate 56° hull with small hatches in welded covers for driver and radio operator. This kit is essentially a conversion for the Esci M4A1 kit which has been around for years. This kit consists of an high quality hull, turret, transmission cover, wheels and other assorted parts cast in a very good resin. Also included are cast, white metal drive sprockets and hatch covers which are very nicely detailed.
The turret, which is included, appears to be a highly altered Esci turret. It is the same except that the loaders hatch and shell ejector port have been removed. All reference pictures I have found have the ejector port. It is a fact that some early 75 mm turrets were produced without this so it is conceivable that this is correct. This kit could be built as either a USMC M4A2 or a Lend-Lease M4A2.
Overall, this is an excellent quality kit and one which has not been produced in plastic. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in M4A2’s
